Ranco Shipwrights and Joinery, a fully-fledged BEE company, was established in July 2004 when a niche was identified within the Cape Town marine industry. With over 20 year’s experience in the yacht-building, shipwright services and joinery industries, the Owner, Randall Daniels, realised that the marine industry lacked a Shipwright and Joinery Service that offered superior quality products and delivered service excellence at competitive prices to predominantly the fishing sector.
The level of business activity that has been generated by Ranco over the past 5 years bears testimony to this and Ranco is now on the cusp of having to expand its operations. The hands-on nature of the management ensures that close customer contact is maintained throughout each project, which means that any additional work requested can be accommodated on an ongoing basis. This flexibility has also given Ranco the opportunity to expand the range of products and services offered beyond the marine industry.
